Rizal is a province located in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines. The province is named from Jose Rizal, one of the national heroes of the country. Rizal is mostly mountainous positioned at the southern part of Sierra Madre mountain range and it is nestled at the northern part of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the Philippines.
Only 16 kilometers from Manila, this province is famous for hiking in different places around Tanay or delighting your art cravings in Antipolo or Angono – the country’s art capital. Taytay is also known as the Garment Capital of the Philippines and Cainta is known for its delicious rice cakes. Rizal is a great place to visit for a quick getaway if you live from Manila.
