Located at the ground floor of BenCab Museum in Asin Road, Tuba, Benguet, Café Sabel is a perfect place to indulge with good food and nature. Placed on a promontory surrounded with green forests, mountains and cool wintry breeze, I considered this café as one of the most beautiful I’ve ever visited.
The café overlooks the museum’s garden and the ambiance is truly relaxing. The café also offers a number of good choices. Most of the ingredients in their menu are found in their own organic farm, harvested daily for better quality. Since the ingredients are organic, expect the meal will be both nutritious and palatable.
I would recommend their bestseller, BenCab’s Chicken Paprika Pasta for PHP 250 (USD 5.00) paired with authentic hot chocolate. Their pasta is simply the best. The taste is so delicious and their hot chocolate is earthy and bitter.
We also tried their Farm Fresh Green Salad with Strawberry Vinaigrette for PHP 150 (USD 3.00). Strawberries are a local commodity in Benguet and pouring strawberry vinaigrette over their fresh green salad adds up a unique twist on it.
Enjoy great food in Café Sabel and have a personal moment with nature in their green garden. Make sure to include Café Sabel on your food trip list and have a delightful meal after feasting your eyes with riveting contemporary artworks from the museum.
